Oh how I enjoy making felt food. I've made many variations over the years.  Handmade felt food is a type of play food that is made from felt. Felt is a type of fabric that is made from wool that has been matted together. It is a durable and long-lasting fabric that is perfect for making play food. Handmade felt food is often more realistic than mass-produced plastic play food. It can be made to look like any type of food, from fruits and vegetables to meats and desserts. The details of the food, such as seeds on a strawberry or sprinkles on a cupcake, can be added using embroidery thread or other embellishments.
